Garden sleepers for beds, borders and steps
Chunky 200 x 100mm timbers in four lengths. Stack them for raised beds, lay them on edge for borders, or set them in the ground as steps.
Planning a raised bed
Each sleeper laid on its side adds 100mm of height, or 200mm laid flat. Work out the outline, count the sleepers per layer, then multiply by the number of layers.
Sleepers are heavy. They're delivered to the kerb, so plan how you'll move them to the garden.
