Privacy notice
We ask for the details we need to take your order and deliver it, we use them for that, we share them only with the services that help us, and we don't sell them.
What we collect
When you order: your name, email address, mobile number, company name if you give one, delivery address and postcode, delivery day, the items you order and any notes for the driver. When you email us: your email address and whatever you include in your message.
Card details are entered on our payment provider's secure page and handled by that provider. We don't receive or store them.
How we use it
To take payment, prepare and deliver your order, send your confirmation and delivery messages, deal with questions, changes and refunds, and keep the records the law requires. Our lawful basis is that we need the details to carry out our contract with you, and to meet our legal obligations.
Who handles it for us
Our card payment provider processes your payment. Your order details are kept in our order system so we can prepare and track them. Whoever delivers your order sees what they need to do that: your name, address, mobile number and driver notes. If you allow analytics cookies, Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity receive information about how pages are used, but not your order or contact details.
We don't sell your details or pass them to anyone for their own marketing. We'd only share them with anyone else if the law required it.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept for 6 years for our accounts. Emails that don't lead to an order are kept for 6 years and then deleted.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the details we hold about you, ask us to correct anything wrong, or ask us to delete details we no longer need. Email info@scottfencing.co.uk. You can change your cookie choice at any time from the footer.
If you're unhappy with how we've used your details, tell us first and we'll try to put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
