FAQ
Questions about ordering
The short answers. If yours isn't here, email info@scottfencing.co.uk.
Ordering, delivery and timber
Who can order?
Anyone: trade or homeowner. There's no account to set up.
What's the minimum order?
£200.00 of timber, before delivery. The basket shows how much more you need.
How much is delivery?
From £29.00 for the whole order. Your exact charge shows when you confirm your postcode in the basket.
Can I collect?
Not at the moment. Every order is delivered.
How do I pay?
By card at our secure checkout. We don't see or store your card details.
Can I phone an order through?
We're online only, so every order goes through the basket. For anything the basket can't do, email info@scottfencing.co.uk.
Is the timber treated?
Posts, boards, rails and sleepers are treated softwood. Each product page describes the piece.
Are sizes exact?
Timber is sold by nominal size. It's a natural material, so pieces can vary slightly in size and will vary in grain, knots and colour.
When can I have it?
Pick any open day on the calendar at checkout. Order by 2pm the working day before at the latest, but order as far ahead as you can to avoid disappointment. On occasion, later ordering may be possible where a date shows as available.
Do I need to be in for the delivery?
No, as long as there's a suitable, accessible place at the kerb to leave it. Use the driver notes box for any access details.
What if something's missing or damaged?
Check your timber on the day it arrives and email us the same day with your order reference and a photo. We'll put it right.
Can I change or cancel my order?
Email us as soon as you can. Our changes and refunds page explains your options, including returning stocked items for a refund if you're buying as a consumer.
Ready to price your job?
Fill the basket, check the delivered total, then pay by card. Minimum order £200.00 of timber.
