Delivery policy
How we deliver, what we need from you and what happens if something gets in the way.
Where we deliver
We deliver to the postcodes the basket accepts. Enter your postcode at checkout: if we deliver there, the charge shows straight away. Collection isn't available at the moment.
Delivery charge
Delivery is charged once per order, starting from £29.00, and depends on your postcode. It's shown in the basket before you pay.
Delivery days and ordering in time
You choose a delivery day from the open days shown at checkout. Your delivery slot is the day, not a set time. Order by 2pm the working day before at the latest, but order as far ahead as you can to avoid disappointment. On occasion, later ordering may be possible where a date shows as available.
We'll let you know when your order is on its way and once it's delivered.
Where timber is left
We deliver to the kerb or the closest suitable and accessible point. Timber isn't carried through houses, along side passages or into back gardens. You don't need to be in. If you're not there, we'll leave it in the most convenient place we reasonably can, where it's possible and safe.
Access
Please add any access details when you order: narrow streets, weight limits, low bridges, tight turns, shared lanes or site rules. If we can't deliver because of an access problem we weren't told about, we'll contact you to arrange another option, and any extra cost will be explained to you before it's charged.
If we have to change your day
If something outside our control, such as severe weather or a vehicle breakdown, stops us delivering on your day, we'll contact you as soon as we can to arrange another day. If no new day suits you, we'll refund you in full.
When it arrives
Check your timber on the day it arrives and email info@scottfencing.co.uk the same day, with your order reference and photos, if anything is missing, damaged or wrong.
